The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed in regards to the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out website to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area daily. The assistance place made for intervention activities a substantial influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
